Cooper Construction has built a strong reputation for excellence in construction. Working in and around the Oxfordshire area , our main focus is on education, healthcare, church and commercial building projects, as well as social and residential housing.
Cooper Construction is a family run business, started by Andrew and Sally Cooper more than 10 years ago.
Though the company has expanded greatly over the years, we maintain our traditional values, with Andrew Cooper still head of the business he founded. While we appreciate the legacy of our history, at the same time we are a forward-looking, progressive organisation.
At all times we put health and safety first by creating a safe working environment for our employees and sub contractors . We employ our own safety advisor to ensure that we are constantly aware of changes in legislation.
By focusing our energies in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area we can keep a firm control over the projects that we work on.
We are committed to introducing more sustainable practices to all of our activities. Such practices are not only helpful to the environment, they offer efficiency and cost benefits too. Corporate responsibility is an ethos we wholeheartedly endorse throughout our activities.
Proven Skills
Many of our employees began their careers with us as apprentices and have gone on to become fully qualified professionals and valued members of staff. We take great pride in the quality of the workmanship we produce and invest in the continued development of our in house skills base.
Our in-house team includes site managers, ground workers, machine drivers, bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers, painters, plumbers and maintenance workers. If from time to time we need specialist external support , we call on the services of a selected network of tried and tested subcontractors with whom we work on a regular basis.
By working in close partnership with our subcontractor supply chain, our clients can be assured of receiving the best possible service and attention.
Our on-site activities are fully supported by our team at head office which includes Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors , Estimators , Accounts Department and general admin staff
